Nellaiappar Temple is a prominent Hindu shrine in the region of South India. The temple is dedicated to the deity Shiva and is located in Tirunelveli, a city in the Indian State of Tamil Nadu. At this temple, Shiva is worshipped as Lord Nellaiappar (also called Venuvannanathar), which is represented by the lingam and his consort Parvati as Kantimati Amman. Lord Vishnu is also worshipped in this temple who according to legend, was a witness to their marriage.
However, the Arulmigu Nellaiyappar Temple is located in the city of Tirunelveli, which is a hub of lots of ancient temples. The original temple complex is believed to have been built by the Pandyas, while the present masonry structure was added by the Cholas, Pallavas, Cheras, and Madurai Nayaks. The sanctum and gopuram of the temple were built by Nindraseer Nedumaran (Koon Pandyan), who ruled in the 7th century AD. This temple followed the Tamil architecture style and construction was completed in 700 CE.

The Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, initiated the Online Booking facilities for devotees to manage the crowd and provide smooth facilities to devotees. Follow the below process;

- On the web homepage, click on the ‘Online Booking Services’ button.
- A new interface will be opened. Here, click on the e-Ticket Verification.
- Now you have to select the Paid and Free Services.
- A new page opens again. Here, you have to enter the Mobile Number and Email and enter the captcha.
- Then click on the ‘Submit’ button. Now, you have to select the services you want.
- Next, check the availability and select the appropriate date and time slot.
- After that, a complete services price overview will be shown on the screen.
- Pay the service prices and your e-ticket will be generated.
- Now you can download it. Confirmation of booking will be sent to your registered Mobile Number or Email ID.
