Kotappakonda Temple, popularly known as ‘Kotappakonda Sri Trikoteswara Swami Temple’, is a prominent pilgrimage place dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is a holy hill, situated in Palnadu district, Andhra Pradesh, India. This temple is located 10 kilometres from Narasaraopet, 20 kilometres from Chilakaluripet town, and 62 kilometres southwest of Guntur City. Additionally, the history of the Kotappakonda temple includes centuries-old tradition and faith in the deity, with many notable kings and nobles contributing to its rise in importance. Sources say that the temple, in its current form, was built by Sri Rajamal Raju Narasimha Rayulu, who was the Zamindar of Narasaraopet in 1761 AD.
