Birla Mandir is one of the prominant Hindu temple in Hydrabad. This temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara. It is situated on a 280-foot (85-m) high hillock called Naubath Pahad on a 13-acre (53,000 m2) plot in Hyderabad City, Telangana, India. Construction of the temple took ten years and was opened in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission.
However, the Birla Foundation constructed the Birla temple of Hyderabad, which has also constructed several similar temples across India, all known as Birla Mandir. The temple was built in the blend style of Dravidian, Rajasthani, and Utkala architectures. The pure 2000 tons of white marble was used in the construction of this temple.
