This temple is dedicated to Murugan, the Hindu god of war. He is generally described as the son of the deities Shiva and Parvati and the brother of Ganesha. Procedure For Palani Temple Darshan Online Booking
The temple’s administration, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, also provides the facilities to book Darshan, Pooja, and other rituals online in advance through the official website for devotees. Due to heavy crowds, the devotee from another state faces many issues to book the ticket on the same day. So, they can book in advance by following the below process;
- To book the Palani Murugan Temple, you need to visit the official website of the Dhandayuthapaniswamy Temple, Palani.
- On the web homepage, you have to click on the option called “Temple Booking Service”.
- A new page will appear on your screen, next you have to click on ‘Temple Service’.
- Then you will see various options in which you need to click on the “Special Darshan” option.
- After that, you have to pick up the Darshan Date & Time from the calendar that appears on the screen and click on the Book tab.
- A devotee form page will appear. Now you have to enter the details of Devotees like Name, Age, Address, Gender, and Captcha code.

Note: On Thaipusam 10 days, Panguni Uttaram ten days, Kandhar Shashti ten days, monthly Karthigai, Maha Deepa Karthigai, Thai Pongal, Tamil and English New Year, all days of Margazhi month and day of Diwali, the shrine opens at 04.00 AM and closes after 09.00 PM depending on the inflow of devotees.
